What this app is
JAM Claude Connector is an internal tool used only by JAM Digital LLC to read and update JAM Digital LLC's own QuickBooks Online company. It is not offered to the public or to other businesses, and no one outside JAM Digital LLC can connect their QuickBooks company to it.
Information we access
With JAM Digital LLC's authorization through Intuit, the app accesses accounting data in JAM Digital LLC's QuickBooks Online company. This includes invoices, payments, expenses, customers, vendors, accounts and financial reports.
How we use it
The data is used only to manage JAM Digital LLC's own bookkeeping, invoicing and tax records. Requests are made by JAM Digital LLC's owners through an AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) running on a company computer. That assistant processes the data to answer questions and prepare entries. No change is saved to QuickBooks until an owner approves it.
Storage and security
The app runs on a JAM Digital LLC computer. QuickBooks sign-in tokens are stored on that computer in a file readable only by its user account. They are never stored in shared folders or source code. A log of changes made through the app is kept in JAM Digital LLC's internal records. JAM Digital LLC can disconnect the app at any time from QuickBooks Online.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share QuickBooks data with third parties, except for the AI assistant service described above and as required by law. QuickBooks data is not used for advertising.
Retention
Data stays in QuickBooks Online. Copies made for bookkeeping and tax purposes are kept with JAM Digital LLC's business records for as long as tax law requires.
